FAQ
What are the costs?
Since there are projects and customers in all shapes and sizes, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for pricing. We can’t tell you how much a logo, website, video or animation costs without the adequate background information. A price depends on several factors and we first need to get to know you, your wishes and your expectations in order to be able to quote an appropriate price. We prefer to have this first meeting in real life at your place or at our office. Of course, it is also possible to meet through a video call or written briefing. The better we get to know you, the more tailored we can make the price. Based on your wishes, we will always make an estimate of the number of hours needed and then attach a cost, based on our hourly rate.
Design is an investment and the return on investment varies per company. We therefore always take into account the value we deliver to our customers when calculating our prices.
This enables us to make a fair and attractive offer to both the beginning self-employed and also large multinationals and government institutions. After all, every company deserves good design. We are here for everyone!
We firmly believe in the quality we deliver and we fully endorse the projects in our portfolio. This is the only way we can achieve what we are striving for together. We achieve the goals we set beforehand and avoid disappointment between parties. That is why we would like to ask you to determine a budget prior to our meeting, so that we can indicate in advance whether this is sufficient to play a meaningful role for your company.
Aspects that increase our prices include short deadlines, deviating working hours (evening and weekend), cooperation with external suppliers and a large number of adjustment rounds.
Do you also work for a company like ours?
Of course we do! What we love most is the diversity in our work. We work for smaller and bigger business in every sector imaginable. The growth of a company takes time and we therefore like to build a long-term relationship with our customers as to enable us to thoroughly read and understand a company, to ask the difficult questions and to refine the brand further and further.
Can it be finished tomorrow?
We understand that your project would preferably be finished ‘NOW’. We will do everything we can to help you as soon as possible. However, good design takes time. The quality we deliver is the result of a lot of research, brainstorming, preparation, discarding designs, redesigning, blood, sweat, tears and a lot of time for your questions and feedback.
We hate compromises. We always throw ourselves fully into a project, no matter how big or small it is, and we will never come up with a proposal that we know could have been better.
Of course, we can always find time to make something for you quickly, and we’re quite willing to pop in for an evening, night or weekend, if need be. All our clients will confirm that we are cooperative also in this regard. Please take our word for it, you are doing yourself and your company a disservice by not giving us enough time to allow for the creative process to take place.
How long will my project last?
Like the price, the timeline depends on several factors. For example, is it solely about the design of a corporate identity? Or do you want an entire brand campaign with graphic items, animations, videos, digital applications and much more? When we have all the necessary information at our first acquaintance, we can present you with a timeline. Upon agreement, we will plan your project and give you the exact deadline.
Do you also work abroad?
We work where you need us! Obviously we work throughout the Netherlands, but we have also travelled to other countries for clients. Dutch law applies to our services at all times. You can find all the necessary information in our general terms and conditions.
Why should we work together?
Our customers’ stories are worth more than ours. See some reviews below:
Berend van de Kraats ~ Ministry of Defence
“C for Charlie is that nice lady at the bar. The one who gets to you at first contact. Who, by asking the right questions, provides you with more insight into yourself. She continues to surprise you with spontaneous actions and boldly makes you fall in love. In love with your own product. And the relationship with C for Charlie? That slowly turns into real love… but if one person knows how to keep it exciting, it’s her: C for Charlie.”
Sasj Lamberty ~ Zuyderland
“C for Charlie is a highly valued supplier. Especially the flexible attitude and the great degree of professionalism ensures that we can rely on C for Charlie to deliver quickly, adequately and above all according to agreement.”
Guido Roijen ~ Custobo
“The cooperation with C for Charlie has been very pleasant since the first moment. The team always strives for high quality and does so without compromising on efficiency. A strong combination. Add to that the fact that they know how to surprise in the designs, take that extra step unsolicited and are fine people in a strong complementary team, and you will understand why we are so pleased with our cooperation!”
Danny Vermeeren ~ YASK Facility Management
The versatility of C for Charlie is unique. We have many different requests and C for Charlie can always help us. Design, facade advertising, stickers, printing, online solutions, photography or even a LIVE Stream, they tackle everything. They surprise us again and again with the best quality, clear and quick communication and ideas we haven’t thought of ourselves.
The best of all… they take everything out of our hands! We can literally trust them blindly.
Giulia Vinken ~ Downsouth events
“At Down South Events we know exactly what feeling we want to give our guests during an event, which string we want to touch and how we want to do this. This is exactly what we didn’t know yet when we designed our own corporate identity and logo. For years we were working on finding the right chord for ourselves. We had several design agencies take a look at our expressions and explained them which way we wanted to go. Nobody was able to come up with a suitable proposal. Until we got to know C for Charlie.
After a short intro we were sent home, we reappeared at the office a while later. And if I’m being very honest, I found it terrifying. Of course I know how and what I want for our company, but would this company finally hit the right chord? Upon arrival, the accessories were displayed in the Down South Events look. And there we were, speechless. Finally… someone got it!
Short lines, a concrete proposal and directly applicable in all forms!
The development of leaflets, notepads, pens, business cards, flyers, clothing and banners followed.
But it didn’t stop there. A great experience you would like to repeat…
In addition to an event agency, we will open the doors of a luxury holiday home in 2021. We wanted to start right away with the right attitude, style and marketing. Again, there was no discussion as to who would get this assignment. C for Charlie surprised us with an impressive visual that ensured that the story was right and the logo got meaning within 3 seconds … Carré 1711 was born and we like to continue with C for Charlie on it!”
Bente van der Laan ~ Oceans X
“Since a few months I have been working with C for Charlie on several projects. I really enjoy working with them because they allow me to do business both quickly and personally. The communication with C for Charlie is very easy, for instance the company always responds (really) swiftly. Another thing I really appreciate is that agreements are well respected so that results can be achieved quickly in a very short period of time.”
Sandra Kohnen Kleon ~ Samen Vaals
”I experience the cooperation with C for Charlie as very productive and pleasant. Within no time they have designed a powerful logo that perfectly showcases our work. The entire board was immediately convinced of the creative approach and implementation. Because of the expressive style, our work is more visible than ever and we still receive many compliments on a regular basis. In our other communication tools our wishes and ideas are excellently implemented and quickly made available, with clear and adequate communication. Thank you for your great merits!”
What does C FOR CHARLIE stand for?
Do you know the NATO phonetic alphabet? It starts with: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta. You sure do! Now take the first letter of the name of one of our founders and see what it stands for. Right, Charlie’s C.
C for Charlie was our working title when the idea of our company began to take shape. Because we have become so attached to it and it just makes a nice mouthful, we have kept this name. In addition, we have always had great plans with our agency. A name with an international character is the easiest to work with.

Do penguins have knees?
A question that we’ve been asked very often lately. And the answer is: Yes! Penguins do have knees!
A penguin’s leg is composed of a short femur, knee, tibia and fibula. The upper leg bones are not visible as they are covered in feathers giving penguins a very short legged appearance.
